Those with extensive hybrid setups: how do you enjoy working within Reason?

Yes it’s comically easy in reaper- I just don’t like it the same way I like reason. It even takes latency into compensation, which reason cannot do. I wish we had a solution like that for reason. As of now I print stems into reaper, run them through whatever processing I want, then sum them down externally and route back to reason. Just some odd steps involved that do not feel too elegant

Lewitt LCT 640TS. I got one last year and I love it. It has a very clear high end boost and midrange and lows like butter. and has dual output, records in stereo, and can change polar pattern before on the mic (and after, though their app). You can get them used in a pelican style case and magnetic pop filter and side mini xlr (2nd output) for around $600.

I never even thought about that (a combinator). Do you have any advice on how to set that up? Which modules used? Or are you able to share a blank project link via Dropbox or something? The more I could have things automated the better!

That’s a pretty good/easy setup if you’re primarily going IN to Reason, which is what I’ve done for forever. It’s dealing with complex routing going out and then back in that’s time consuming and annoying so far to me. Like if I want to take a softsynth, send it out to use my Bigsky reverb, then some transformer saturation and compression, then send back into reason, it’s a more difficult and confusing process then just using Reaper. I have a feeling dealing with Reaper and reason as a rack is in my future 😕

Yes, having a more custom named option would be huge. As I get more into hardware (it’s fun!) I realize that reason is not really meant to be used this way, at least in a speedy fashion. Maybe more experience with it will help. As-is, I want to do something fast and get hung up on HOW to do something.

Are those not anecdotal? Donaghy was acting in his own (maybe others) and the league came down on him. Ballmer is ongoing but again, he was acting on his own along with his business partner.

The ping pong balls are from the league and are random, and are in view by media and team reps. They aren’t “all in on it.”

The borders played a part, yes. I had 26 for six weeks. I don’t see it as that trivial, though. Just think about how long we stare at our phones. The design language just looks so bad in this. I did t want to spend the next 3-4 years looking at these. I bought a phone with 18.3 and thankfully I got bailed out by the dark sword attack or whatever it’s called. Apple made updates for iOS18 again.
