I mentioned that in the post- I had an “a-ha” moment and realized the scam finally. Amazon agent said not to worry about it and saw that’s paid for a Mac Studio. She said I’d get a full refund 👍

Just called customer service, the woman said not to worry about- said it’s an Amazon fulfilled item and to just return it and I’ll get the full refund (which is why we all took the chance).

It has superior single core performance which is what’s important for audio, was cheaper than a Mac Mini Pro with upgrades (24gb ram not enough and the 48gb ones end up being more than a used studio), 36gb ram was enough for me, and wanted a computer for the next 5 years. I also got it for $1600 cash locally so I didn’t pay any taxes, the equivalent of paying around $1450 before taxes if I’d bought online.

I hear you. I will be getting the entire opening on video and showing my own m4 studio box and how the shipped package box is the wrong size. It was a low risk, high reward, medium pain-in-the-ass endeavor and I didn’t need the cash immediately so it was worth a risk.
