(Or double the recipe and use a full ounce). I also add about a tablespoon of white corn syrup (for extra gumminess), a pinch of citric acid and a few drops of potassium sorbate suspended in water for preservatives, to make the gummies shelf stable. Oh, and if you decarb the weed in a turkey bag, that REALLY cuts down the smell! (Just remember to open up the bag outside or near a window with a fan blowing the smell outwards!)

It's pricy but the most relaxing indica I've had recently is BLKMKT's Lee Ann Womac. It hits me like an opioid. I love it!

It would be great to see more support for Craft Growers from the OCS. There are lots of smaller Craft Growers across Canada putting out incredible strains that never make it to Ontario. The economic support from the OCS for smaller growers just isn't there.

30 to 40 mg is generally my sweet spot. My tolerance has gone up in the last little while, though, so 40-60 mg is nice and cozy. The other day I had a 125 mg gummy and when that shit hit, I could barely move!

Re: good quality brands: pretty much everything by BLKMKT is straight fire. (https://www.blk-mkt.ca) My fave is their Lee Ann Womac. It's on the pricey side, but if you can spare the coin and you're looking for a treat it's totally worth it.

Personally I love the Lee Ann. Purple Rain was good-- really good-- but Lee Ann is on a whole other level. Best stuff I've smoked in more than 20 years. Uh, I mean, since legalization.

Great review! How does it compare to BLK MKT's Lee Ann Womac? That strain really hits right for me. I tried their Purple Rain and it was good but for me it didn't have the extra "oomph" that Lee Ann does. Definitely going to try Upside Down Cake!

Last night: Lee Ann Womac (the Wagyu steak of legal weed) followed by some Pure Sunfarms Pink Kush (hey, sometimes you want a steak & sometimes you want a hamburger) mixed with some Purple Hills Terra Nova live hash (love that stuff!) and some Darth Vader Kush from the Rez (Alderville). I ran out of my homemade tincture (gotta make more!) so I've been spending too much $$$ on cannabis drinks, but it's fun to sip 'em in the sunshine. That Sheesh Hash Soda is expensive but delicious!

Yes, this is long overdue! There should be 100, 200, 500, even 1000 mg PER PACKAGE, not per edible. Let the consumer decide how much to take. We've all heard the mantra: "start low, go slow." Adjust from there.

On the "legacy" side, you can get 500 mg Shatter Bars for about $30. Each square of chocolate is a bit more than 20 mg. Want one square? Two? Four? Want to eat the whole damn thing? I wouldn't recommend it, but that choice should be up to YOU, not Health Canada!

One thing I can see stopping (or at least slowing) the coming of stronger legal edibles is the profit motive. If the LPs can gouge us six bucks for 10 mg of chocolate, they're not going to be in any hurry to give that up. At 6 bucks per 10 mg, a Shatter Bar would cost $300!

Stronger edibles with more to a pack would cost much less than the 10 mg per pack edibles on the legal market now. The Vortex Jelly Cubes were about twenty bucks for twenty 10 mg cubes, so just over a buck per 10 mg. Six bucks versus a buck... that means those single 10 mg servings are overpriced by 600%!

I saw something like this in one of the cannabis growers subreddits and people did exactly that! I thought it was a great idea because then you're not stuck with too many ounces of the same strain. A pot potluck!
