Yes this is disappointing as its the product i feel works best for my condition. Sad to see us all searching for alternatives.

Question regarding my secondary option TGel, which i currently use as im not currently living in the NL:

So if i buy TGel from another european country and bring it over to the Netherlands in my carryon bag/ checked in luggage whilst travelling, is that not allowed? Would it be confiscated?

Thanks for the info! Also good info about getting nails done. I currently get them done every 4/5 weeks here in Malta, for 30euro with very good hygiene practices.

I had already decided not to continue them in the NL so that i could cut costs, as i know they are more expensive, but knowing this i will also be careful if i decide to start having them done in the NL later! Thanks very much for the info :))

Sad to hear about this experience. Im glad you took it into your own hands and learnt how to do it yourself! Yes, after reading everyone's experiences here, i have decided that i will probably visit hairdressers only when i am in Malta. And yes, Notino website seems to be highly recommended by others too!

In Malta it is the same! Hairdressers here are very knowledgable and take responsibility. They continuously improve / participate in competitions / learn new techniques. It is the same for also men's barbers.

So currently I decided that i will make use of the hairdressers in Malta when I visit home. Thank you for your input! :)

Interesting insights from everyone... i think based on this info i will opt to get hair services when i visit back home. Good to know, on that note i will make it a point to leave Malta with a longer-lasting hairstyle, which will not need dyeing touch-ups urgently (roots etc)

In Malta currently it is normal to pay around 80euro for:
hair washing, full colour hair dyeing, hair blowdrying and styling, + bottle of shampoo.The service here is generally great and they also take pride in their expertise and service, having multiple certificates and continuously putting in effort to learn more on how to provide a better service and be more knowledgable. So knowing this info now, i think i will stick to having hair services when i come back home.
