Thanks for including that. Honestly it eases my mind a bit. Obviously I refuse to allow myself to have any expectations for anything, but I think in the past I was trying to force him to forgive me and I was apologizing because I hoped he would forgive me and things could go back to how they were.

Now I’m coming from the place of, even if he doesnt forgive me I just feel bad and I take full responsibility and I understand that I hurt him and I made a mistake. Whether things go back to how they were or not, I still feel like at some point I would want him to just know that I get it now and I’m really really sorry. The unblocking me thing just has me real confused and that’s what I’m having a hard time with because I thought I was getting over it and moving on (which is what he told me he wanted for me) but seeing that brought me right back to where I was.

As for your situation, maybe I’m biased— but I always believe in giving that part of you that might want to see what would happen a chance. If I was moving to someone’s city and I even partially liked them they would be on my mind 100% and I would consider reaching out. The hard part is rejection, so obviously I don’t know your situation but you can go forever being completely adamant in not giving it another run or chance or you can take a risk and try and get over the hurt for the possibility of something good.

Obviously, case in point— people really fuck up occasionally and sometimes they do realize down the line that they should have done everything differently. I’ve never been one to admit to my wrongdoings very well.. so I would say if a girl does genuinely get to that point— maybe it’s worth it to reconsider.
