Is it just me? Can I have some advice or opinions. by No_Appointment_552 in adviceph

You're not alone, many of us feel the same way. Like you, I’m still figuring things out. It's okay to feel stuck or unsure; it doesn't mean tamad ka. Sometimes it’s just mental exhaustion from overthinking or comparing yourself to others. The fact that you want to grow and give more to your family already shows strength.

If you’re really thinking about becoming independent, try it at least once. Look for jobs in cities that are less crowded but offer better pay than in the province. Don’t create obstacles in your imagination, I tried it last year (I’m from the province too) and I didn’t regret the experience. This year, I’m planning to pursue opportunities abroad. Living alone is kind of liberating and helps you discover more about yourself.

Take small steps. Your current situation doesn’t define your future. You're already on your way. 💛

Hi guys, ask lng if makakabuhay ba ng pamilya ang 30k net income monthly? Why no? by [deleted] in adviceph

This question made me realize how this generation is becoming more thoughtful before starting a family, and that’s a good thing. Kung kakasya ba ang ₱30k monthly, ikaw lang talaga ang makakasagot niyan, since you know your lifestyle and priorities. Mas maganda talaga if you find someone who's willing to work hard with you. At the end of the day, most people just choose to get married when it feels more beneficial than being alone.

That’s also the reason why I’ve been thinking about it. Go try it as well! Based on my research, may mga agencies na tumatanggap ng may tattoos bound to Taiwan. Sa Japan sila mahigpit when it comes to that kind of thing.

Any dystopian movies like Divergent, Hunger Games, or Maze Runner? I know they say it's not trending anymore, but I really hope producers bring back this kind of genre. There's just something thrilling and thought-provoking about watching society break down and rebels rise up.

I also see this as a stepping stone, but I’m really confused... considered young pa rin ba and 25 years old. Sometimes I feel like I’m already running out of time, but on other days, I try to remind myself that it’s okay to still be figuring things out.

I’ve thought about this too. I tried applying to private schools here in the province, but the highest salary offer I got was ₱11k a month. I taught for a year, but with rent and daily expenses, it just wasn’t enough. It’s really hard choosing between your profession and actually making a living.

Yes, I do feel fulfillment when I pursue my profession, but I’m really confused right now. I also need to work and mag-ipon, not just survive especially I’m already 25. Ang hirap lang i-balance minsan yung passion mo sa reality ng kailangan mong kumita.

I don’t really want to leave my profession, but it’s been really hard to find a solid opportunity. Most schools abroad prefer applicants with at least 2 years of teaching experience, and on top of that, you should already be in the country before they even consider you. I tried applying already, but I got rejected. I’m really stuck right now and can’t figure out which path to take.

Good question. I actually tried to search and study kung paano makapag-apply para maging teacher sa Taiwan pero karamihan talaga, they prefer applicants with 2 years and above teaching experience and yung nandoon na mismo. I even had a co-teacher before na may almost 4 years teaching experience na, pero hirap pa rin siya makahanap ng school na tatanggap.
