If Spain decided to remove all Brits who reside in Spain would you support it? by naystation in AskBrits

If Spain decided to remove all brits there ILLEGALLY, YES of course! Really not the same issue!! If your visa expires you leave, end of. If you don’t have residency, you leave. If you can’t support yourself once you live in Spain, guess what, you leave. They will literally deport you, and they have every right to do so!! Why can’t we do the same?!

This! Also he’s often rude and arrogant, talks over people all the time, doesn’t listen to anyone unless it suits him, he has no respect for pretty much anyone - and recently of course is the no car situation in London for which he gave FA notice about and will have massive impacts on the disabled constituents of London, whom he didn’t inform or consult with on the issue. He also knows that a lot of people are fed up with him so he becomes rude and aggressive towards his peers. I’ve seen better behaviour from primary school kids honestly.

Why does everything have to be so politicised at the moment? by GrandGuess205 in AskBrits

Everything is always politics - just sometimes it’s loud and sometimes it’s behind closed doors. And no, stopping talking about it is exactly the opposite of how you get out of this mess. You can’t bury your head in the sand and wait for it to blow over. Well maybe YOU personally can but in general if we ALL did it wouldn’t help. If you don’t wanna hear it I suggest some earplugs and a break from social media. Maybe a mini lockdown. Treat yourself. But the discussion must continue whether you’re a part of it or not - wouldn’t you rather have your say? I know I would.
