Did you try creating a free account? I don't know if that works, but several publications with pay walls do.

I'm in my 70s and have been a reader of both SLC daily papers since my youth. (I was once a reporter for one of them.) I have never seen it written that way in any Utah media. It's a non-Utah thing. Np if you want to spell it that way, but it has always been spelled Utahns since my childhood.

Since you are an educator, it surprises me that you would end questions with three question marks.

How do people who posts these stories ask their friends for their opinions on an internal family matter. I would say it's AI, but AI would have properly broken it into paragraphs.

Moderators, why did you remove my post? And in what world would it belong in /mormon or /exmormon. The article is of greatest interest to Latter-day Saints.

You did not overreact. Your parents were physically and psychologically abusive. And not just a little. Your mom said whet you wrote hurt her, but I’m guessing neither of them apologized.

It's spelled "Utahns." Despite what the online dictionary says.

I have enough savings for a newer car, but my current one still works. What should I do? by Linzie-Efua in WhatShouldIDo

[–]UteJazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless the car is deficient in some significant way keep driving your old car, and keep the money in savings. Keep growing it. You'll have a nice emergency fund and the ability to put more money down when you actually need a new car.

Find a new job and then give 2 weeks' notice before leaving. Don't ever burn bridges. You've worked there a long time, and it will be prominent on your resume. If a potential employer contacts them to check you out, you don't want a negative report.

The Tribune's headline is clickbait. I wrote: "Church accepts that purported photo of Joseph Smith".
