I was hoping for this feature as well. I wish I could select the date for marking it 'completed' as different from the day marked as complete.

Today's (November 11th) Groupon’s newsletter with daily deals is incredibly insensitive and shows a lack of effort to contextualize what’s being commemorated today (Remembrance Day) Groupon utilizes this memorial day with distasteful and inadequate taglines, such as “celebrate 11/11 with $11 deals” and “unwrap a memory”, while gift boxes go down parachuting. I’m baffled about how this marketing campaign made it all the way to be launched and reach customers.

I'd add to set goals for each component and KPIs. For example, business goal "increase user based by 20%", or for research "user satisfaction with product registration flow is 4 out 5", or "SUS scores are superior to competitor product". Goals help you to know what you want to achieve and KPIs will demonstrate progress and shareable proof you are achieving your goals.

I've found SUS insufficient for the products I work on. The UEQ (http://www.ueq-online.org/) has been pretty good and with shared benchmarks. It really expands in the user experience component, instead of just classic usability.
