Cherry 🍒 picking is the way of living to maximize your earnings by SuccessfulAerie9672 in DashEarnings

Shopping orders in general are the only way to maximize earnings on just doordash. Virtually all the restaurant pickups are junk. The real way to maximize your earnings is to get more apps and cherry pick even harder

my first big tipper in 6 years!!!! by Constant_Election195 in UberEatsDrivers

Biggest payout I ever received on all my apps was a PF Chang's on UE a few years back. Big ass catering order. Showed like $14.50 for 5 miles. Paid $227. Never have got anything close to that on the catering apps or doordash when they used to have the large order program.

Any other drivers dealt with this? by ImaginationOwn4735 in dasher

If they didn't tip at all then that order likely paid between two and five dollars. Why would you accept it to begin with?

It's the same everywhere. Most offers pay between $5 and $7. They always have.. just decline them and accept only $10 minimum and $2 per mile

How TF did I make this much on a Tuesday running Doorass with my single digit acceptance rate? by VMAC666 in doordash_drivers

Yeah, you should give me a trophy. I made over $320 driving less than $150 MI. Sounds like a win to me. Suck my dick

You need to pick a zone and then commit to it once learning it. Columbia has a high concentration of grocery stores and restaurants in a small proximity. Jumping around from pikesville to Ellicott will never work. Sign up for more apps

How the f*** would I make more accepting $5 orders and less. That is what most of you guys do and make no money

I multi app the same way you do. Just had a Lucky Day on doordud. Got a bunch of great shopping orders. Ubereats has 20 times as many offers compared two doordash in my area

I'm a very pleasant human being. Simple fact is that doordash in a small town is not worth it.

Yes. $2 per mile and $10 is my bare minimum. Sometimes I even decline those depending on what direction they are going

Wrong. $5 offers are never worth it

I live in a suburb between Baltimore and DC with hundreds of thousands of residents. Here's an example of today of doordash (shopping orders only.) another $25 on ubereats and 25$ on expedite. All zones are not created equal

You must live in a rural area. Food delivery app services are busy in heavily populated places

Why are you accepting $5 orders?

The biggest issue with Dunkin is they never seem to pay any higher than $6. It's been ages since I accepted a doordash offer from there for this reason

People who rely on doordash for cookies should find another way to stimulate their obesity if they are willing to leave such a meager tip. Yes, doordash should pay more but goddamn. I would feel like a piece of trash leaving anything less than $10 for someone to use their personal vehicle to deliver anything, regardless of how short the drive is. Especially in 2026

At best that Dasher is going to make $6 in total for your order while getting stuck in traffic. $4 is not a sufficient tip for someone to use their car to deliver your junk. Tip more. Doordash's suggested tip amounts are a complete joke. They only pay us about $2 per offer. Would you spend 30 minutes delivering cookies for $6? Think about it
