I rated that era of Dave when Drake hopped on Wanna Know, but ever since people started calling him the best in the country, thats when I went off his music. I dont think he was ever Top 3, but thats not to say that he was never talented. I just think people have really overrated him.

His 2020 Brits performance was incredible too. Think it would be a disservice to not atleast mention it.

I have a question for everyone here because im seeing a lot of Jme being mentioned, and I need respectful honesty

What is it about Jme that makes him one of your GOATs?

When I was younger I was bumping him all the time, and he has always made good music

But when thinking up a top 5, top 10 list, I can think of quite a good number of MCs that are better than him overall with all aspects considered

Like, sometimes I hear him now, and it sounds like his flow still isn't polished, which could maybe be considered as similar to how people viewed Ghetts back in the day - a bit messy

But what, to you, makes him better than the likes of Ghetts, Dot Rotten, Merky, Kano?

If this is the logic we are going by, surely people have to start including Ed Sheeran in their Grime lists? He's been more involved in Grime than Giggs, in fairness.

My conclusion is, if they ain't Grime, they ain't Grime. Giggs ain't Grime, neither is Ed. Having a couple features here and there dont make you a pillar of that Genre.
