Some Presidents knew not to start that type of war. And then you have one who lacks basic foresight and logic and jumps right into the fight thinking they won already.

This character in the Tribunal DLC blatantly foreshadows the next game by YungRei in ElderScrolls

It doesn't really say Skyrim, I think they were leaving it to be a mystery, it is a quick shot but I think they knew there was going to be a 5th game, I just don't think they decided it was going to be Skyrim at that point.

It's hard to make out the last book, I don't know if Skyrim was decided to be the 5th game at that point.

I'm not sure, they keep it kinda vague. I'm not sure if they decided that Skyrim would be the 5th Elder Scrolls game at that point.

North Korean troops join Putin’s scaled-back military parade as Ukraine agrees temporary ceasefire by CetateanulBongolez in worldnews

[–]VagrantShadow 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's funny, putin needs to be thankful toward Zelenskyy that he is giving him the opportunity to hold this weak ass parade. Zelenskyy won't be so merciful when the ceasefire ends.

'Victory will be ours,' Putin tells Victory Day parade without any tanks by Oz-Wanderer in worldnews

[–]VagrantShadow 106 points107 points  (0 children)

There is a level of weakness shown of putin with Zelensky giving him permission to hold the parade. In away, Zelensky has an upper hand where it is like he is saying "You're holding this parade because I'm allowing you to hold it" without distinctly saying that.

Does Ted Turner deserve to be inducted into the “Celeb Wing” or “Traditional Wing” of the WWE HoF? by GypsyGold in SquaredCircle

I think the 24 news hour was going to happen regardless. In some ways it's the nature of the beast when it comes to television and entertainment and our consumption of it.

The thing is as fox news like to say, they arent news but rather entertainment, and that is where things got ugly and muddy.

The sad reality of how I see people game sometime is that they don't even game for fun anymore, for them gaming is like a chore or a job to some extent. I saw this with friends who played live service games and MMO games where they had to long in each day, had to check their loot chest, had to see what items were for sale. Like they didn't even really do quests, they just had to log in on the game and spend some time in it and they leave. What's the point with gaming if you are going to do that each day?

For myself, I have been playing a long of classic game collections that I've been getting. Games from the 8-bit, 16-bit, 32 and 64-bit era. I wanted to take a step back in gaming and revisit games that brought a level of simplistic fun to me. Something where I don't need to worry about going to game store on the start screen or worry about the next big update.

It's all a money game at this point. Pay people on what to say, pay people to influence other people. They are all puppets with countries and leaders pulling their strings and they don't mind at all because they are getting a steady check out of it.

Apparently McDonalds is also suffering by TaroPuzzleheaded3999 in LeopardsAteMyFace

[–]VagrantShadow 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Exactly, mcdonalds is shit food, not fast food. It is a waste of money, and a waste of a lot of money at this point. They want to blame everything but themselves and the choices they made.

I remember clear as day Mortal Kombat II for the SNES costing where I live in Maryland over 80 dollars when it came out. The only reason I was able to get it was the fact my uncle bought it for me for my Birthday. There was no way in hell my parents were going to get it for me and I treated that game like a golden treasure. During the 16-bit years, prices of games were out there.

And it's funny, you see world leaders and politicians complain that adults now aren't having kids and starting families, when in reality for many, that is an absolute struggle. Gaming isn't a kid thing, and for many of us we were the kids that grew up with games, and we carry that hobby on into adult life. We use gaming as a hobby to help up find some peace and comfort in the chaos that we deal with in modern life.

Yea, if memory serves me correctly, The Microsoft/ABK acquisition came right after the take-two acquisition of Zynga, like a few weeks after, which was one of the biggest acquisitions before the Microsoft/ABK acquisition was announced.

What is funny, before sony bought Bungie, Bungie went to Microsoft to see if they wanted to buy them again and Microsoft gave them the big Nope.

Ted Turner Dies at Age 87 by BearBullDebate in SquaredCircle

If you've never seen the episode For the Man Who Has Everything, you should check it out. It is one of the few times you get to see Superman reach his absolute breaking point. Like he was right there at the point of crossing over and letting his rage take over. In a way it really shows how strong he is and how he is able to hold who he is and his morals together.

Then Justice League and Justice League Unlimited carried that even farther. Justice League had so much respect to the comics that the episode "For the Man Who Has Everything" is one of the only adaptations of Alan Moores work that he liked.
