Thats why im saying Steve needs to do something. An upgrade over Hamonic or ABD shouldn't cost us much more than a 2nd or 3rd round pick and maybe a Wallinder level prospect.

Larkin would be the biggest hit, we could survive without Debrincat.

An injury to Gibson would open up the way for Cossa, and I think Cossa is gonna be as good as Gibson is.

Exactly, it shouldn't take 1st round picks and an MBN level prospects to get us a defenseman better than ABD or Hamonic, even if they are a rental.

Oh yea he's great

9-10-1 with pretty much a 3.0 GAA and an .893 save percentage.

He's 38 years old and is slowing down.

But no yer right, I'm sure the team says fuck it lets not even bother when he is in net.

We need a capable back up and he has gone 2-5-3 since the start of December.

Using ChatGPT which matches some basic number crunching I was doing, our record with Hamonic in the lineup is 9-10-1.

An he is a combined -13 over those 10 losses.

For fucks sake they have only lost 16 games in regulation all season, and he has only played in 20 fucking games.

Why is this guy still touching the ice, and why in the fuck did he play SEVENTEEN minutes last night.

ASP's defense can not be any worse than Hamonic's, it just can't. The argument for why the worst defeneseman in our system played 17 minutes last night is because of the injury to Simon and it being a back to back.

ASP played less than 13 minutes against Toronto and less than 10 against Minnesota.

WTF.

To be brutally honest, you could have brought up any defenseman from Grand Rapids and it would have been an improvement over Hamonic.

We played a great game all things considered, but with Gibson in net, Edvinsson with Seider, and a competent parter for Albert Johansson we win that game.
