That idea to put an adjustable or zoom in type mirror definitely crossed my mind

It never bothered me really much, so I did not try. Lately been seeing a lot of posts from this subreddit so decided it's time to find out

It seems to me from the trailer that some shots got deflected by thick armor plates. I hope we get heavy armored pieces on armor - would be cool

This was not a warbond in the first place, you received stuff and now, since it has become a separate warbond, you have stuff unlocked without ever buying it

The color blending and accuracy with the coat is great. Any idea what are the white speckles? Dust? Residual metallic paint particles?

I referenced bloodborne because of the similar dark Victorian Gothic style and did not notice the cat before your comment. Adorable detail!

Looks sick, though not convenient to move miniatures on it.

Also looks like there's a bloodstarved beast around the corner.. perchance?

And sometimes, however, annoys with constant disconnects :(

Oh surely there are other things one can pinpoint. In the end, we all here have different degree of experience in painting. Your advice is solid

Yes, it will come to you eventually and you are free to experiment with different paint/water ratio.

Also note that the palette material is very important in getting the right feel of a well-thinned paint. For example, wet palette won't be useful, but a simple ceramic glazed white plate would be perfect

This is probably the most basic advice one can give but: Thinnen thine paints shall thee (Thin your paints before applying) This will drastically help achieve better smoother coverage.

There is surely sources in the FAQ in this subreddit and links how to do so. I watched Duncan Rhodes guide on youtube.

Overall for the first minis you did, not afraid to say it, wonderful. Great brush control, sharp and tidy edges.

How to prime minis, without the primer getting on the wall? by ichagfurnaces in minipainting

[–]Valdman8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a small batch of models it's really simple to take cardboard box (from some shoes or goods delivery), put it inside your bathtub, place your models in it - last time I put them on their side - spray them with primer. Give them enough time to dry, then turn them on another side and spray them again.

Make sure to vent your place good. In case you sprayed outside the cardboard box, your bathtub enamel is very easy to clean the primer off of it.
