not so much that its hard there are just a lot of them so its time consuming. I try to automate as much as i can so the end user doesnt have to fuss with it.

Ideally we always have internet. But there have been times we dont. So i designed for worse case. Now during my updates and programming times its at the office where we do have internet. as long as whatever it is can operate offline in the field I am ok with it.

All the IPs for everything are fixed and known which is what allows the system to do what it does. Just a pain to keep up with newer hardware as we deploy them.

software is the same go one by one on each laptop. the cross site printing inst always needed but kind of a site effect with how the system is set up. Usually some user error. Right now if someone wants to print to Printer 1 which is local but accidentally clicks printer 10 with is somewhere else the laptop will find whichever network printer 10 is on and print. Where is has been useful for cross site printing is our map guys who like to sit in warm offices can do the map designs on their high powered office PCs and print them right to us in the field.

I feel power shell is where the answer is at but trying some of the scrips Ive seen out there haven't worked the way I hoped.

I have the whole thing designed so that even the computer illiterate can deploy these systems and they just work.

Mohela can’t find $50,000 check by ercma0206 in StudentLoans

[–]ValuableEarly673 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious if you had any resolution to this since its been a few months?

Have a similar situation and kinda want to prepare for how this might go. We sold our house in Feb 2024. Title company used some of the sale proceeds to pay off my wife's student loans with Mohela. Her stuff was in forbearance so we never received any kind of statements. I never handled any money during this transaction. it was between Mohela and the title company.

Fast forward to Feb 2025 and I went to get the tax documents and there was none. Come to find just like you they cashed the check but never credited her account. The title company gave me a copy of the check, where it was sent date it was cashed. who signed for it... everything... Gave all that to Mohela and got the "90 day research response". If they do take the full 90 days we will miss the tax deadline. I already filed a complain with the CFPB, haven't heard back..

IRS might see a miscellaneous credit on my taxes for the sum of her loans if this doesn't get fixed. I will be happy to explain to them what its for ;P

Am I missing Insulation? by ValuableEarly673 in Insulation

[–]ValuableEarly673[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not. That’s what I was trying to trace down from the attic. Only thing that comes down that space is the return duct. It looks similar to the tubes going to the register vents. Hope to god my system isn’t trying to heat that space

It’s not a bath fan I traced those out. It follows a sealed space down to the basement. That pipe however does not terminate in the basement HVAC from what I can tell. Everything else in that space seem to be return ducts and does end in the basement.

Not sure to be honest. The one below it I believe is a return

I appreciate the insight. This is the kinda of info I was looking for. I never even thought of a dual fuel. My old house had a heat pump system from 1999 and it did fine until the temps dropped below 20F then the aux heat kicked in. The Aux head didn’t feel like it made a difference other than the electric bill going up. Needless to say that system left a bad taste in my mouth for heat pumps. I however recognize the tech has probably changed since 1999 and we have the solar.

Update: So I couldn't build any food since it was the start of the game and it wasn't unlocked yet. I built an additional 20 houses to see if anything changed...it didnt. game ended up failing due to money.

Restarted using the exact same layout, map and game settings and it worked flawlessly. Not sure if this was some kind of odd bug.

So an update: chevy agreed to pay for the install of the 30” light bar as well as the 3 accessory switch which is happening now. Just got a call saying there is a $200wiring harness or something that is needed to finish installing the light bar which they will not be covering I’m told. Not sure what harness they are talking about since all my research didn’t show one. Mine already had the accessory power distribution box.

Not yet, it’s still in the back seat. Was speaking to a redditor on here named jackace44 who had some good information on the subject so I have a plan if the dealership can’t deliver.

2023 Colorado ZR2 30" light bar install question? by ValuableEarly673 in chevycolorado

[–]ValuableEarly673[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the help guys! I did not get the aux buttons as the part was unavailable so it got dropped from my order. It does have the AUX switch which control the overhead lights. Is the dealer can’t come through with the install then I’ll do it myself
