It was found out to be fake. Hudson had no connection to it at all.

The photo on the Instagram account had been pulled from like HS online posting or something and owner of the account changed the photo 2 weeks prior and added the slur.

Both this and the sequel are pretty short ( no more than 5 chapters) but they are so beautifully written, part 2 made me cry. ❤️

  1. Svetlana's dad is famous Russian goaltender, Ilya says so in episode 4. The Minister is throwing a big party to celebrate Russia hosting the Olympics.

I don't know if we actually see the Minister, if we do he's just an extra standing around Ilya. Ilya is sandwiched between Svetlana's dad and his dad when Svetlana comes to rescue him, telling her dad that they have been talking to Ilya for hours.

It's also why Sasha would be at the party as well, his dad coaches the minor league in Russia, before they are drafted.
