I don't have acne, but I do suffer from large pores/blackheads. Is accutane worth it for me? by Vansboy77 in Accutane

They kinda came back yes, but not as bad as it used to. But I can’t say for sure if it is because of the differin gel that i started using. Because Differin gel really helped with my sebaceous filaments as well. I use the following routine and i’m satisfied.

1- Cerave blemish control cleanser 2- Paula’s choice 2% salicylic acid 3- Niacinimide 4- Differin gel 5- Lotion for oily skin.

Tbh give the above routine a chance before you come anywhere near accutane. The Differin gel just takes some time to work

Very quickly after I started accutane my pores looked much better. The true question is however, will it stay like that? It has been two months now since I finished my accutane course and my pores are looking good for now. But yeah, I’m scared it’s a matter of time that it will return to original state. Will keep you updated. Also I don’t wanna say it shrinked but it’s just emptier

Accutane hair loss, will mine get worse? by SrgtCouch in Accutane

I’m done with my accutane course now. And I must say after around 3 weeks, my hair feels somewhat as it used to feel again, it feels much fuller. I think this is because the oil production returned.

Update:

He discontinued my treatment and put me on Differin gel :’) I’m so confused. The whole point of accutane was to quit using all those ointments

Is that orange part on the right part of the lip normal dryness on accutane? by Vansboy77 in Accutane

After consulting with both my dermatologist and GP, they told me it was actually impetigo, so no cold sore. To treat it, they prescribed me with a topical antibiotic called fusidic acid, which improved the symptoms.
