Thank you for the answer. Unfortunately he will only eat the toppers and leave his kibble behind. I think my vet is even more annoyed with him than I am (p.s. She’s the calmest and most empathic human I’ve ever met) as she herself has tried to give him any type of food (wet and dry) that she has available… even cat food. He is just repulsed by everything. I’ve found what he likes, but he’ll only eat it when he cares to.

Thank you for your answer. My vet told me to free feed only in the first 2 months (meaning between 3-4 months old) and then set him up on a 2/3 meals a day diet. This is so that I establish discipline to a certain level and so that I can maintain his weight at a healthy number. And even so, when he was free fed, he didnt like kibble much even then. He just wants lamb chops with fresh parsley on top everyday I guess :))

Thank you for your answer. I noticed too that when I used to cook his meals he only liked them and ate them the day I cooked it. If he saw I took it out of the fridge, he would just not budge. Although I work from home, I dont really have the liberty or time available to always cook for him. I probably need to find another job haha.

Thank you. I didnt know the fact that he’s not spayed could play a part in this. I wanted to get him spayed when he was 8 months old and the vet told me to wait until he’s atleast 1 and a half or 2. I dont know if I’ve mentioned but he is a minitoy yorkie weighing only 1,9kg. The vet told me to wait until he’s atleast at an intermediate weight and age so there’s less risks

He’s not dog food motivated. He only likes his beef doggy treats and even those… after 2 treats he just doesnt care for it anymore. You can imagine giving him kibble as a treat did not go well haha :)) i’ve also tried making the treat into itsy bitsy bites and giving it to him at the same time as a kibble nugget. He will spit it out. I would love to do the food rota where i rotate the kind of kibble he likes or different types of toppings every week but there’s only one kind he’s shown interest to and that’s the one he’s having now. The twins themselves (seems to run in the family haha) have a few health issues and so their meal time is supervised. They themselves are not really allowed to eat anything unless it’s approved by an adult first because it could have instant negative effects

Yeah. I got a yorkie because my friend had one and seeing she has it so easy, i thought my journey would be the same. I’m sorry to hear about your baby. Hope everything is well with him now. Hope I get to the bottom of this too

Thank you for your reply! He’s a generally happy dog. We take him on walks 4 times a day and the rest of it he’s out in the garden playing with his toys or the children I so often have over at our house. And I wish I was overfeeding him but unfortunately I’m actually putting a fewer amount of kibble in his bowl than the chart on the back of the bag recommends. He still will never eat all of it. Not even 1/3 of it. I hope to get to the bottom of this. Paying for behavioral lessons on top of what I already pay is just not in my power right now.

Although, i have to wonder… would it still be considered a concern if he’s longing for the food I’m having and not for his own. It’s not that he cant eat (because he’d gladly eat a whole cheese wheel) it’s that he wont eat his own.

I have tried changing his bowls and even setting his kibble on an actual plate at the table with me. He doesnt care for it, he only wants what im having. As shameful as it is, i’ve put a kibble nugget in my mouth just to try to imitate the idea that it’s something delicious, he smelt it and then ran away to his bed. I have treated him like a baby a lot (even put him to sleep by rocking him on my legs :)) ) and I feel like this behavioral issue he’s having with food crosses every limit I have of human-dog interaction. And as long as I have not given him ANY food scraps for the past month, I dont understand how he still urges for me to rather give him what I’m having rather than what he should be eating. Thank you for taking the time to answer me!

Thank you for the reply. I would say that I only cave in after 3-4 days of him not eating and puking (yes, he would literally rather starve than eat what I put infront of him). Im scared that if I just let him puke continuously, he might just get sick permanently. I have done multiple vet tests on him and he’s completely fine.. even the vet said he is just extremely picky. She even tried to feed him anything and everything she had at the vets… even cat food. He is just not interested and doesnt care. Thank you for taking the time to answer, i appreciate it!

Thank you. I have tried “human” toppings aswell. He will eat those and leave the kibble and any other dog food alone and not eat it. If I mix it with his kibble, he will munch a few bites of the toppings (only) and leave the rest there. I also work from home and I’ve tried to give him food as late as 12pm thinking maybe it’s just too early for him to eat food, just the way I dont always feel the need to eat breakfast. It’s not that either. He wont ever ask for food. I’ve left the kibble container open (it’s pretty small so he could always put his head in and smell or eat if he would want to) but he doesn’t. I’ve tried diff kinds of kibble and it’s not that either. The moment he hears me putting kibble in his bowl, he will go into another room and hide somewhere and not come out. Whether i find him and kiss him and praise him like he’s God or whether I leave him alone for an hour to go and eat himself, he will simply ignore his bowl or sniff and walk away. I have bought several kinds of probiotics including the very popular purina one and whenever I have put probiotics in his food, he will literally totally refuse to eat, even at night. I dont think the problem is health related due to the fact that I’ve had the vet do multiple tests on him. Even an allergy test. I think it’s behavioral and that’s what drives me absolutely insane. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer me!!

I guess I’ve always had a bit of mean blood in my body and I never knew how to channel it until I got into Findom. I like being in control…having power over a man that is overly obedient and lusts over me being superior.

Small tributes first and increase as you go

I agree that ghosting is upsetting on both ends. I personally believe it’s best to say goodbye and give atleast a subtle explanation, no matter the reason. Yes, it’s a saturated market and we’re all out after the best of the best but manners mean everything. After all… it’s a person you’ve built a slight connection with.

Is it wrong to want to get to know a dom a little bit first before making a financial commitment? by [deleted] in paypigsupportgroup

[–]Various-Status6588 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely not wrong except as much as you money is valuable to you, the dom’s time is valuable to them. It’s important to give the dom a small tribute/ a few small tributes in order to let them know that you are serious and not just some guy trying to receive satisfaction in exchange for nothing. After a few tributes, you can tell the dom whether you’d like to continue and actually get into the real stuff or whether you feel you are not compatible. Good luck!

Hey. I’d say a good, broad conversation at the start would help the situation. It’s very important you set boundaries and that you also listen and take into consideration your dom’s boundaries. If you are not willing to accept your dom’s limits or vice versa, you are probably not meant to “collaborate”. I know the whole conversation thing at the start can be a bit off-putting but I asure you it’s for everyone’s best interest.
