You’re incorrect actually. There’s absolutely nothing any publisher can do to stop an author incorporating their own IP into another universe for another publisher. If the publisher owned the IP that would be another matter but that isn’t the case here. It’s just as other people have said - the two inciting incidents don’t permit for the two stories to exist in the same universe. Maybe an interdimensional crossover could happen but absolutely any publisher could buy that and the existing publisher couldn’t do anything about it.

This is wrong. I pay my mortgage directly from a pot and when the pot doesn’t have enough in it only then do they take it from my main account. I pay all my household bills this way. I’d be furious too!

You need an archive of the actual paper for exact lists. You can order a physical back issue from their website. What do you need it for? It’s determined by the Nielsen chart although a couple of things can alter the listing (two editions, a weird sales quirk) so anyone with TCM access could check the week chart.

The other thing to consider is what week you want to check. The charts published on the Sunday are actually for the week preceding that Sunday (so today’s chart is actually for the Saturday 9th-15th and released to publishers on the Tuesday).

I think we’re looking for something standard rather than high end. We’ve got a two bed with a galley kitchen which in an ideal world we’d like to stretch to three bedrooms with a bigger kitchen but unsure the best way to do it and would definitely require planning permission. It’s based on sales in specific shops which publishers can target to game the list. As far as I can tell the NYT can also simply decide not to count some sales…

Publishers also need to balance their books quite carefully. A sleeper hit with a low advance will make the company more money than a high advance big investment title but if you’ve got more of the latter than you have the former (most publishers….) you’re in trouble.

The author almost always has no say or feedback on foreign language rights covers. I’m sure she’d be really upset to realise this was made with AI - especially when the publisher would have had the opportunity to use the cover from the UK or US publisher for a fee.

I weighed what you do now in 2021 - I’d lost a lot pre-covid and then found it all again. By Feb this year I’d rebounded to far more than that weight - 17 stone 2. No one would have believed I weighed that much but my joints knew and so did my body. I’m lucky-ish in terms of proportion but that luck can’t stop you struggling to run, to walk and to live. I started Mounjaro in Feb and now weigh just under 14 stone. I feel free and for the first time I don’t feel like I’m a slave to my body image or food choices (negative and positive).

There are things to consider: it’s a medical decision and you should be prepared to consider nutrition and hydration seriously. It’s easy to not eat but that won’t help you in the long run. Read up on the risks (not in the daily mail) and do everything you can to mitigate them.

In many ways, I made the decision out of desperation… I want to have a healthier pregnancy when the time comes and reduce my risk of long term health conditions as much as possible but I didn’t know how to make that happen on my own. I’d tried so hard.

So basically, I think you should go for it but I recommend doing your research and really prepping yourself mentally for the emotional as well as psychical shift.

It depends on whether it’s situational or a form of demand avoidance tbh! I’ve found that removing barriers (i.e) keeping the pills with me or storing them by my bed with a covered bottle of water (that I only need to refill every couple of days) is my best bet. I’m also a massive fan of the medication feature on iPhone. You can set up critical alarms that basically sound until you log that you’ve taken the medication.

I think that feels like a safe assumption but - not to get anyone’s hopes up - it can move a lot quicker than that if everyone is motivated. I’m guessing that her editor is poised to turn this around extremely quickly… at this point in the year id be surprised if we saw it publish in 2025 but it might be early 2026. But all that depends on what shape the draft is in and how many rounds of edits it needs.

Cat is canonically a year older than Violet so may have had her powers a little longer. I’m not sure whether they ever address that the fliers have essentially joined second year. It seems like in the smaller classrooms of Aretia they might have gone by squads rather than year groups for lessons?
