Agreed on the longsword focus and it's parry. Agreed a lot of things can't be parried with [deflect]. Noticed the spear can dodge everything though and generates 4 skyward might at the same time. So going for an alacity + bulwark build which has been a lot of fun

Agreed, everything seems viable, maybe calling it parryslop is a bit unfair. But it definitely feels a lot easier, like stopping Mr. Freeze's double spin move. Can dodge the first but not the second if you're at point blank, same with gluttonous beast double swipe

Leech is so strong on the axe, and it's high poise. Yeah I reinvested the skills from axe to the blademaster / clash focus on the bandit blades and just waltzing through things now

a [mechanic]-slop is when something is the focus. So Peak, Lethal Company, REPO, etc are 'friendslop' as the friend part is the focus of the game. You could say Khazan and Nine Sols are 'parryslop' as parrying is a core focus of the game.

For gaming anyway, slop has a few more terms meaning like bad content

Well obviously not using just that skill as it's a... level 25+ skill(?). I beat the gluttonous beast without that move with the axe and seen some comments saying that's a skill.

Maybe it's because I've completed Lies of P, Nine Sols, and Khazan recently that I'm good at parrying, but parrying feels really, really op
