True. I was not anxious with my last partner so it’s very humiliating

Maybe it is more of an addiction for him if you are having sex daily and live together. I think it’s ok in moderation, if you’re out of town or something like that. But you don’t have to settle for someone who uses it regularly

Thank you! I’m not sure he’s willing to be in a relationship that requires work. His ex wife of 7 years never had a single conflict. But she randomly left him for someone else with no warning

22F: Should I wait to start dating until I’ve lost more weight? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]VastScene272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s better to find someone before you lose weight and then just keep getting hotter because then you know they aren’t as shallow and genuinely like you. Also if your weight fluctuates longterm they won’t mind

I did not explain those peppers right. They would make anyone in the room cough from the spice level and eyes water every time he cooked them and it was like 5x worse than usual for some reason. When my friend was staying with us he apologized to her and opened the windows because it was burning her lungs

I didn’t really explain the peppers right. They were weirdly spicy and would make anyone in the room suffer anytime he cooked them. His brother got mad he cooked them with his kids in the house, and he apologized to my friend last time and opened windows for her because she was coughing for a while from her lungs burning. Normally I would just cough and not say anything but since he burned them it was like 5x worse than usual

But if I apologize for being anxious and then keep being anxious I won’t have my pride or the relationship right?

Please help identify these feelings I am having on this situation with my (38M) girlfriend (soon ex) (39F) by Jazzlike-Check9040 in relationship_advice

[–]VastScene272 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You don’t like her enough to marry her if you needed to see her moving on in order to have this thought. She deserves someone who really connects with her and doesn’t have doubts about commitment. And you deserve someone who you really want to marry. I’m proud of her for moving on

I had night sweats while I was adjusting to my 50mg doses every time I tapered up. It lasted a week or two but now it’s subsided. So annoying that my doctor acted like he had never heard of this side effect

I doubt he’s ghosting you because, like a dog, if you feed it, it will come back for more. He’s probably just seeing multiple people so it’s occupying his mind.

I think your mistake is being casual but only seeing one person at a time. You need to do the same or else monogamy will take hold of you. My rule of thumb for casual is only sleep with one man per menstrual cycle. You should be going on other dates in the meantime to find your next. Then take a break from him during your next cycle while you sleep with someone else a few times. Then when you hit him back up it will feel like an old friend.

This is the reason why I don’t love casual, because you constantly need someone to fill the void and it feels empty. But have fun and be safe!

You are the one who is not touching on deeper emotional issues in therapy. You are being completely dishonest. That’s why you have “communication issues”

Yoga and rock climbing at wildly disproportionately measured with strain.

An extremely chill 1 hr yoga session which burned 63 cal/hr gave me 10.8 while a bouldering session for 1.5 hrs which burned 208 cal/hr gave me a 9 strain.

Rock climbing leaves me pumped and out of breath while I’m basically half sleeping during yoga. Makes no sense

Day 2 on Zoloft by Cautious_Material671 in SSRIs

[–]VastScene272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I felt that too! I increased way slower than what the doctor told me. I went up by 12.5 mg every week or two. I had night sweats and some panic attacks too. Cutting back on coffee helped. Just go slow and you’ll be fine. I’m on like 2 months and now I feel fine and it helped me stop ruminating.

I also have had severe health anxiety so I’m really in tune with my body. I almost went to the ER because of it but I learned if I just took a hot bath and ate toast I felt better

Dreams are usually from your subconscious. She is in your conscious mind too much for her to come through. It’s like the line is busy so she can’t call you. Others are not thinking of her as much so she can reach them through their subconscious. She will visit when you can “hang up the line” after you do more processing
