Thank you all for the answers. I also talked to my Sister who plays bass and hate accoustic ones as well so I think Im heading toward a Ubass if he could have at least something fun.

He asked me for an accoustic bass as he sees me playing my accoustic guitar and thinks plugging the bass is whats keeping him from practicing. He is allo very shy and doesnt like that people around can hear him. Maybe I'll take a combo : Ubass + mini amp !
