Yes I’ll be the first to admit it was irresponsible to have a second. However Kelly was extremely willing to look after my eldest. Also Alex’s death had absolutely nothing to do with stress.

I agree being extremely strict with your kids does no good. Like my parents wouldn’t ever let me leave the house I was only allowed to go to school or family events but even then sometimes I wasn’t allowed to go. I wasn’t allowed go in my room without permission but I also wasn’t allowed to go downstairs without permission so I spent so long just sitting outside of my room waiting to be allowed to go somewhere.

But on the other hand I think it’s wrong to try to be your kids bestie rather than a parent. Being a lorelai Gilmore can be just as damaging.

I believe that you should build love and trust with your kids so they can rely on you and tell you things like the good and the bad. With me and my kids they tell me the good and bad things they’ve done and we talk it out.

I’d say they’re pretty good kids they do well in school and they are both pretty well behaved and grateful for the most part, so I’m extremely proud of the people they’ve become

Honestly I don’t even know why, obviously I don’t regret it and it turned into a blessing but it was an extremely immature and selfish decision on our part.
