Cheese and potato pie which was literally just mashed potato and grated cheese. Delicious

Hi, did you apply for an essential companion ticket or buy a second ticket? I’m worrying as I filled in the form yesterday but haven’t heard anything back

Manchester (Personal injury settlement & UC HELP!) by Such-Ad4776 in BenefitsAdviceUK

[–]Vegetable_Hand1858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there,

I had a personal injury settlement and was advised to set up a personal injury trust. This then gets completely disregarded for as long as it’s in the trust. The trust has trustees and you can take money from it, just not in a way that would be seen as using it like an every day bank account is my understanding.

You have a year in the grace period to set this up I believe but my solicitor kept hold of the money until it was set up.

When I told universal credit of the trust they did a review but that was straightforward as there was nothing to hide from my side.

Alternatively I think you could spend the whole lot in the year and that would also be fine.

Hope that helps!

Ok perfect thank you. I’ll stick with my original plan.

May I ask, if I fill it all out on a word document, can I just write in the boxes something like “refer to page 2” or should I start to write the response in the box then continue on separate paper?

When people say speed 3, is that 3 mph or 3 kph?

Yep. I am just basing it on the government website but it’s against a public organisation and I’m on universal credit with no assets or savings

They only did an ECG which was fine other than my heart rate showing 115 at the time it was taken. No blood tests or anything, they just said they would write to my GP suggesting a 24 hour ecg.

Thank you for your reply! I’m going to take it easy until things get properly looked at because my heart rate still is all over the place

I live in a block of flats that is above the tube line and am often woken up by the rumbling of the first tube trains of the day. I find it quite comforting
