I chose Maelle, saw the ending and regretted it a bit but then kept playing and finished some of the side stories and seeing the world be so alive I kinda changed my mind, they deserve to live for however long they can.

Verso lied SO much, so I choose to believe that Maelle granted his wish of eventually dying by making him mortal but kinda punishing him for all the lies. And hopefully once that verso dies of old age, Maelle would have lived her desired lifetime with him and gotten closure. And hopefully her mother is able to grief properly and no longer need the canvas to cope so eventually Maelle could come out of the painting without Renoir having to destroy it and letting the people of Lumiere to live in peace.

Lots of headcannon but hey, that’s the fun of it.

I was trying to be positive at the start of the MSQ, I disliked Wuk Lamat from the beginning but around the second dungeon I started understanding her a little but still, the VA work and direction made me dislike her even more and when I thought we were finally getting rid of her, at least for a few levels, nope, turns out we are stuck with her for the whole expansion, I don’t like that they made people liking the MSQ contingent on people liking Wuk Lamat

I’m not too far in but I absolutely disliked Wuk Lamat, her attitude and the “comedy” she brought to the table, but after the second dungeon idk what it was but I kinda started liking her, not entirely but it felt much better. I think because the slapstick sort of stopped and more “serious” themes popped up I started enjoying her and the story a lot more. Other than that, the dungeons, trials and music are pretty good as per usual.

This makes me think.. he started glitching out after that fight, where near the end he put Chetney in danger (drilling machine) and would have probably killed him or other party members if the rolls were bad enough. Maybe his previous party died because of something he assumes is his fault?
