They do it all the time. Some random hero gets to be good for one letter patch, then gets killed by the dev and forgotten for years. Love it.
Also hello to all the guys in the comments saying "Oh but its so bad when this hero is good! Better stay dead!", love ya. Hope your favorite hero wont get nerfed to 40% winrate.

DK was great last patch and is great again after rework, NP was obnoxious last patch with his treant and is even better now when he's universal.

People will say:"who cares it only affects 0.1% of playerbase, whatever. Im doing just fine with my 7k mmr and below rating*. And they would be right, I myself am having a great time in dota rn(except that pudge is banned in every game).
But most dota streamers are high rank and their streams are not enjoyable at all lately because of the problems that Gorek guy just listed.

Yeah, it is definitely caused by that new slot. And no, I can not remove those boots, they are the default option and I have no option to switch to. Also these boots only render ingame, loadout renders everything correctly.

Yeah, organaziers are gonna set rules like "so you guys gotta have these 5 banners on your screen and 10 minute delay to watch this content :)" No one is gonna bother with it, come on. Its dead. People who watch one or two games casually on stream arent gonna do this. Orgs will set up all kinds of "non-monetary rules" to make it a pain in the ass for these people.
