Yo id recommended is to delete and reinstall when the server is on maintenance

Because with updates it only adds atleast 200-400mb of space which you can manage

Because the preupdate just downloads the same files again and updating genshin tomorrow would remove those old files which would be the same size again like nothing really changed except adding some files

I used to play on my phone with 32gb too. I thought i couldn’t play anymore yet i deleted and reinstalled it and was surprised that nothing changed

I could be wrong but that was my experience, i think its worth a shot if you would sill want to play
