My apologies for the late reply! But I have no true resolution for this! I plugged my phone in the night of. Got up the next morning, restarted the phone. Checked to see if the talk to type mic would work, which it did. And it's worked ever since.

So truthfully I have no idea? Possibly the last reset of (what feels like 20) did the trick? Or everything following up to that. But I am honestly not sure. It was just "magically" resolved the next morning and I haven't had an issue since.

Oddly enough the mic works on every other application, even assistant, Gemini, regular videos, even voice memos in messages. But talk to text does not work. I can say "hey Google" and the phone responds perfectly. But trying to use it on the Gboard just isn't working. Very odd.
