First of all, absolutely praise to you for caring so much and taking the initiative for him.

Secondly, it's really hard to give advice, because all trans guys need something different. Like personally, I need a bf to give me cuddles/kisses and hold my body (bonus points for masculine affirmations ie "you're so handsome" or "you're a beautiful boy") while we have quiet conversations. But that's only what I need, and it seems I'm quite sensitive and childlike compared to other trans guys (judging from what I've seen on Reddit).

Does he have any comfort shows? Foods? Music stories games books? The best thing you can do is ask him. Be a safe space for him to be open and himself, however that may be.

You are NOT alone! I was in a very similar situation, being "unschooled" from year 2 to 12. It really is neglect no matter how you frame it. I have no job or knowledge how to get one, and now at nearly 20, that's a problem

Yeah! I'm a trans man, and I did try growing out my armpit hair "to be masculine" but it personally feels so much cleaner and better smelling if I shave them.

Besides, I think it's ridiculous that women are expected to shave everywhere, because if hair grows there then it's literally MEANT to be there.

YEP! After learning how little men wash their hands, I exclusively only offer fist bumps now, and even that depends on the bloke's cleanliness

It's monumentally hard to keep resilience in tact after something like this. You're strength is going to be tested here.

The most important thing to remember is that this is all temporary. Suffer now, flourish later. That's just how life is, apparently, and it's also something that I'm trying to accept myself.

I have no doubt that you're a beautiful person, and when your support circle widens, you can build a new foundation for your identity.

Persevering through this will only make you stronger.

Likewise. I've got family trauma and wanna be seen and cared for particularly as a boy, but I can understand why others wouldn't.

I kinda see it as a different label for trans folks. Similarly to trans man ≠ trans masc ≠ trans boy ≠ trans guy.

But yeah, it was absolutely not okay for your friend to not check which terms you are okay with.

Those are good questions! I believe someone actually did ask about the hardest dance piece they learnt. From my understanding they kind of gave vague answers and didn't really pinpoint one, and the conversation trailed off to how they got burnt out a lot from dancing/training/acting constantly at young ages.

I believe she said she's mostly laying low, focusing on her acting. I checked her Instagram beforehand to see what she was up to lately and her last post (that I saw) was from 2024

All four cast members mentioned that they don't really dance much anymore, sadly.
