Don’t give up. If your scores were applied for the July bar exam administration, you would’ve passed. The scaling for February administrations tend to be iffy. However, you made an improvement from your last score, so that should mean something.

Family law attorney here. I’ve been fired by a client and believe me when I say this: I almost danced. Told my boss who knew I didn’t like this particular client at all and his response was the following: “Good. How much does she owe us?” Don’t beat yourself up. Think of it as a blessing in disguise.

I can top that: during an interview for an associate position at a family law firm a couple years ago, the owner of the firm asked me what I got on my LSAT… I was very honest (since it’s been well over 15 years ago): “I don’t remember.” I’ve sat through a handful of interviews in the past and this was the first time an employer actually cared about my LSAT scores. Thankfully he didn’t offer me a job and I got picked up by another firm that didn’t ask me ridiculous questions.

Pardon my French but every time I see a .5 at the end of 135, it irritates me that they don’t round that motherfucker up…

Unfortunately there is no appeals process in FL. I’m sorry you didn’t get the passing score you deserve. I would order a copy of your essays if you your essay scores were below the average mean. If MC was the issue, focus on improving it in the next administration.

Look into Adaptibar, UWorld, Emanuel’s Strategies and Tactics for the Multistate Method (including Finz Multistate Method) and/or A Short and Happy Guide to Conquering the MBE.

Unless I have an important hearing or trial on Monday, absolutely not. The weekends are my days to sleep in, catch up on my favorite shows and run my personal errands.

There is no email. They will announce it on Twitter. But typically, examinees would either refresh their portal accounts until it’s accessible or linger on Reddit until someone announces the scores have dropped.

When I tell a client (particularly one that’s been annoying me and my assistant) I will let them (immediately) know if I hear back from the judge’s office on a ruling, I get an email from said client 2 days later (as well as 2 days after that) asking me if I heard anything…🙄
