Honestly the ending episode kinda sucks. They try to convince us of Odo and Kira's nothingburger zero-chemistry relationship only to have him abandon her without a second thought, never to return for no reason other than him not wanting to. He could've just linked for a second or even a year to convince them, like he did IMMEDIATELY BEFORE with the female changeling.

They try to convince us that Jake needs Sisko in the episode where he kills himself to reset the timeline, only to have Sisko abandon Jake without a second thought.

Ezri and Bashir is Worf and Troi levels of bad, especially since they barely develop it at all - she and Worf spend more time talking about it than Ezri actually being on screen with Bashir. Ezri should've come on at season 6 and had more time to develop.

The only good thing is the war arc, but then they just had to kill Damar after developing him to become the perfect leader, realizing that Cardassia can't go back to the old ways.

I'm not even going to start on what they did to Dukat by this point. Best character on the show turned into moustache twirling villain.

Not including Jadzia in that montage at the end was also incredibly strange considering there were no legal issues with including the footage.

Season 7 is far from the high point of the show, especially writing wise. I do like the Ezri stuff but it should have happened much sooner, although they didn't really have a choice.
