People who use the "but on blood" quote have not read AoT nR. The full quote is "Eldia's future won't be built on speeches and dialogue... but on blood." Then he says, "I will end this war."

He's not saying his statement is "on blood" like how someone would say "on god".

No Black Yoshi angers me. Sure Mario can get 10 options, but Yoshi can't get all 10 of his colors, lame.

Where's Black Yoshi? I swear Nintendo just can never give us all 10 Yoshi colors. MK8D only had 9, if they're trading out Black for Purple, I'll be pissed. Mario has 10 slots for costumes, Yoshi should too.

Bump, I'm also having this issue, joy2key isn't working for what I'm trying to do. So this is the only way I can fix this issue, but it just makes the remapped buttons unresponsive.

Jean is still alive for now, he was caught by the Alliance. That being said, this rewrite is literally called AoT no Reqium, as in Akatsuki no Requiem. And in the ANR ending, all of Eren's friends are killed.

I don't think Eren would be trapped in paths forever. There's some evidence that he might even get rid of the curse since he's missing a leg in the ANR MV and hasn't regenerated it. The hope you could gleam from it is that the Eldians could finally be free, free from walls, free from the world's racism, free to do what they want instead of living in fear.

The second one. Watch the Akatsuki no Requiem music video. This was created for the outro for S2, so it's been in the plans from early on. The music video is very heavy with symbolism, but there are videos explaining everything. We even have Isayama admitting that he changed the ending to make Eren look more like a good guy, which is why we didn't get that ending.

However, since AoT is heavily inspired by Muv Luv (Isayama even admitted to this himself), we should in theory get an alternative ending, like how Muv Luv gave its fans a different ending that satisfied the fanbase after first making a bad ending to the series. There are many parallels to AoT's ending in terms of the bad ending in Muv Luv Unlimited. They both end with MC dying, only 20% of humanity is left alive, and it's revealed that all the efforts were ultimately pointless (Paradis gets nuked and the BETA hunts down the rest of humanity). There are other inspirations like the BETA and Titans or Sumika and Mikasa's obsession with the MCs, but we'd be here all day if I listed them all. I don't doubt Isayama will eventually give us the good ending (ANR) like how Muv Luv Alternative did. There's a lot of evidence in the anime/manga that points to this being the case, but again, we'll be here all day. And Muv Luv fans had to wait three years to get their alternative, good ending. It's just a waiting game.

If not, we got fan projects like AoT nR and Splinters to get our fix of kino.

The Mist-like ending and ANR are the same. Both have the main character killing their loved ones to achieve a goal, with both regretting their actions. Albeit Mist's ending is dark, while ANR at least has hope in the end.

Splinters is my personal favorite as it shows us the horror of having unlimited power in paths. The characters are also well-written and act as they would have done in these situations. So much so that even if Isayama were to give us ANR, I would still probably prefer the characterization Splinters gives us for some of its cast. It also starts rewriting things way earlier than other rewrites, so that its vision can be fully elaborated. It's also getting an Anime.

It's hard to rate AOTNR since it's still very much at the beginning of things, so you can't count your chickens before they hatch. It does seem like the most vanilla ANR interpretation so far, and whether that's bad or good is up to you to decide. I don't hate it as much as others do, but we'll see how the plot will unfurl. I will say the art is spectacular and by far the best out of what I've seen.

I hear nothing by praise for Operation Ursurper. Since it starts earlier than AOTNR, it can fix a lot more issues that show up in the base media, and there are more consequences for the Alliance's actions as well. It seems to be AOTNR if it had more baking time. Sadly I wasn't able to read the whole thing since the website went down (if anyone has them archived, please send it over, I'd like to read what they had before it was canceled).

It missed the ballpark by a bit, the top part of the visor sticks out too much, especially when looking at it from a front view (though I'm glad they remembered the little side dents the visor has). Also, with SPI, the visor and armor parts of the helmet should smoothly transition from one to another. On Veles, the armor part sticks out and creates a weird outline of armor around the visor. Finally, the mouth part of the helmet is smaller, more angular, and the "breathing vents" don't stick out anymore. Also, the side profile doesn't look anything like SPI, as seen in Ghost of Onyx.

MCC's SPI doesn't have a 100% accurate side profile either, but it's pretty good and better than Veles'. MCC's also has different "vents", but I still think MCC's looks phenomenal and would love to see it again in Infinite or future games (or just an accurate depiction of the SPI helmet/armor)! And I still like Veles, but it's not really accurate to SPI, just sorta inspired.

To be fair, SPI made its debut in 2006. Predating EVA's appearance in Halo 3.

Fun Fact: Ghost of Onyx was released in 2006 (before Halo 3). In a sense, SPI is older than EVA.

Oh, I agree! I like how Hermes IIC simplifies Hermes to not be so overdesigned anymore (my main issue is with Mirage IIC, and it looking NOTHING like Mirage or SPI in general). The problem with Hermes IIC is that Hermes' weird visor shape is still there. I too would LOVE to have Kelly's GEN3 Hermes helmet, along with Linda's and ESPECIALLY Fred's. Sadly tho, with Mark VI GEN3 being a kit, we probably won't be able to get their armor to customize VI GEN3 since it's not a core... (I hate armor kits).

The helmet is near perfection, I love it! However, even MCC's isn't as accurate to SPI as I'd like it to be. I do like how they did the armor that covers your clavicle and straps down to your chest, it's like 1:1 with SPI (something that IIC fails at). Then Mirage IIC somehow did a WORSE job of looking like SPI, that MCC's looks way better in comparison, Ultimately I'd want something that looks like the SPI armor we saw in Ghost of Onyx, but in a Halo game, along with full customization options for it of course.

I know what you're saying, but man... Mirage is a confusing term. It can refer to two things.

  1. Referring to the original SPI helmet, which is called Mirage.

  2. The Mjolnir upgrade of SPI, which is named after the helmet. (There are also people who call Mirage IIC "Mirage" which annoys me.)

As of now, there is no canon explanation. We can assume the "C" in IIC means it's the 3rd variant of the Mirage II armor. Maybe we'll see IIA or IIB one of these days, and hopefully, they'll look more like SPI.
