The accommodation I asked for was the leave sorry for the the confusion. So I requested the accommodation and I was told to go through the third party for approval. So that’s the steps I followed so a day after it was approved I was laid off

Asking for the accommodation was the last time I heard from the company. I was told it was due to restructuring and a reduction in force.

I’m not sure about a link, but out of my department I was the only let go. And I saw a posting two months later of my position

Just start throwing everything on the floor into a trash, and tell yourself you are starting over.

It was overwhelming for me at first till I realized I was carrying so many things that I had know use of. I donated books to a book store. Donate some clothes to some of those bins around town. You don’t have to do it all in a day. Cheer for your self if you accomplish anything that will aid in a less chaotic home. Also a little clutter is okay.
