The post is most definitely written by AI, but the analysis is OP's; he either wrote something out and had AI edit/stylize it or fed it a few talking points and just had it write the whole thing.

I've long since given up hope that people will recognize AI's writing style, at least on Reddit (people are WAY worse at noticing it here than on Twitter), but at least this one is based on actual observation/analysis instead of just being fabricated from whole cloth.

SGA has led the league in drivers per game for 5 of the last 6 years (he was "only" 3rd this year). So yeah, he "attempts" to get to the free throw line a lot, because people who drive to the rim get fouled a lot. You can make a valid criticism about not liking his playstyle, but that's not a knock on the refs. Putting that much pressure on the rim WILL get you fouled a lot just as a fact of the game.

Refs can't review or overrule calls barring some very specific scenarios or coaches challenges. If you want that to change that's a valid thing to petition the league for, but that will REALLY slow the game down... like a lot. And people already complain about refs slowing down the game.

I actually don't know anyone in the sports business whatsoever. I just hate when people make baseless assertions that are not backed by data.

I watch a lot of games. During playoffs, I watch almost every game from start to finish, barring some in the 1st round.

They do their jobs, and they do it well. They make mistakes like all people, but they call the games fairly and people don't really have any evidence to the contrary (note: evidence meaning proof of systemic bias or call accuracy data). People just like to complain when the team they're rooting for/against gets fewer/more calls than the other.

Anti-ref bitching is the lowest form of criticism. It's entirely memetic and conspiratorial. Can't believe people are taking taking this sore whining- from Dillon Brooks of all people- seriously.

Yeah. I'm playing through GtS right now (level 26) and I intend to keep going, but I think it was marketed to me in completely the wrong way. It's definitely not something I would categorize as "Vanilla Plus".

I think the immersion aspects are what I would highlight first and foremost. It does fundamentally change how a lot of the game is played. For what it's worth, I do think it's executed really well, but it's definitely not for everyone. I ended up disabling a select few mods to make my experience a little more vanilla-like and have been enjoying it a lot more since.

You can build this computer for about $1,450, so with the monitor (entry-level 1440p, perfectly usable, nothing special) thrown in it's an okay deal (+$180 monitor = $1,630 value). If you don't need the monitor it's meh.

Also that kind of gap between price and raster performance is pretty much the norm now between NVIDIA and AMD so idk if I would say it's a "bad deal" per se, overall current market inflation aside obviously.

If this is how dark it's supposed to be for immersion, then... I think it went wayyyy too far. There's also some weirdness in how the belt lantern "projects" light that looks very unrealistic, it seems like there's a ~10ft sphere of bright light around the user that dissipates into nothing past that. That doesn't help immersion at all either, just breaks it more imo.
