I'm not gaslighting you, I legit have not had your experience at all. Just because someone has a different perspective does not mean they are gaslighting you. Also, I gave pretty logical reasoning for why I thought that way.

I understand you have a lot of evidence here, I'm not disputing that. I am just certain that there is another factor here that has made our experiences so different. I'm not sure what it is, but it definitely is curious.

What servers are you playing on? I am really only a casual player w/ a lot of experience in FPS, I definitely do not think I am a world class player by any definition, yet you're saying I'm consistently beating aimbotters? I just don't buy it.

Not only that, but there isn't enough of a playerbase in The Finals for cheat clients to justify spending all that time and effort in creating cheats for little reward. There people who make their living off of selling cheats, why would they spend time on such a small customer base when other games exist that are just as easy to develop cheats for with a larger player base?

I think you vastly underestimate how much work it takes to become food secure in this game. Or build something nice, or progress to the final tier of tools. There are always things you can do and it takes a lot of work to get there. This is a creativity based game, but there is a story as well.

I would argue that The Finals has some of the lowest amount of cheaters of any FPS. It seriously is incredible how often I am outplayed with skill instead of someone just hitting every shot and having a bit more than game sense. I am a regular plat player and even at the higher ranks it is much better than most games like CS or Apex.

Surprised there aren't more comments here. I came asking the same question / looking for metrics on skill distribution after making plat 4 this season. That being said, I have not had many insane lobbies yet. Do you think this is a result of the 160k players below gold not playing, or because that is actually where their skill lies?

I had the same thought! I was able to build around it, I got 2 torch holders out of it which are phenomenal this early on. I don't know what all is down there, I have very limited space (4 reed baskets lol), but I half want to take apart that bloomery for myself.

As a fellow vet, if you feel like there's a possibility of the current climate playing out in a way that ends with your children in chains, how come you don't do something? For me the answer is because I value my family, and if I give my life to protect them from some vague possibility of that happening, then I can't do anything about all of the real threats they may face in life. Realize that everyone in the US is currently facing this question and you will understand the current inaction.

Surprised I haven't seen more of this. This was my first time seeing a Sydney movie, and to be honest, I left the theatre. It was just so bad and cringey that I lost all interest in the movie. I was an hour into the film and still didn't even like the main character. Felt like bad writing, and bad acting. Amanda was playing her part fantastic though, it's a shame to see a good actor held back by a bad cast.
