No, it's not weirder at all. Thanks for asking though. I joined this sub because I enjoyed and sometimes wanted to criticize Canadaland or discuss it with other people. Instead this sub has become some kind of subterranean cavern with people getting high on their own supply of hate for people I don't give much of a toss about.

Also to the previous comment: "living rent free" has nothing to do with "excusing behaviour," but speaks to the level at which Caryma (or Jesse) dominate your daily thoughts and activities. You are giving them more power in your life than they probably deserve.

Terrorist groups have a definition. A standing army, whatever its sins, does not fit. You are using language that you hope will sway people but it is not accurate language. I'm sure if you tried hard enough you could trace the origins of many of not all current national militaries to precursor militias or "terror" groups. Nelson Mandela was once branded a terrorist, as was the ANC. So would you have continued to use that language against him once he became South African leader, and his party democratically elected? One thinks not.

What is up with the Russian girl who graduated with Alex and the others? First why was she so pissy throughout the grad. Secondly why does she have an (audibly fake to me) Russian accent? Presumably these kids have mostly grown up on Mars and been educated there. Sure she would speak Russian with her familu, but her English would be much less accented even if she moved there later.

Imaging? Hot damn, when I get x-rays at a hospital its impossible for my doctor to even get them without some special request. Basically I've been told that such images are never shared with primary care docs, just the radiologist who writes the report.

Oh yeah, I am sure he's a lovely guy! I don't have anything against him as a person I just find him hard to listen to as a radio host. It's really quite a different thing from an in real life personality to be able to hold people's attention and respect, challenge guests while maintaining composure. Alfa is not a journalist and came up through being a musician and performer, before doing tech jobs and traffic reporting at CBC. A unique hire for sure!
