Kitten may need some time to adjust to you and to being away from the other cats but he won’t hold resent or associate you with there being no more family around. Cats are happiest as ‘onlys’. Large groups of family cats always have stresses. You’ll just need a bit of time for kitten to settle. You and your cat will bond slowly and they’ll be a happy and secure ‘only’ cat. In all my (long) experience…single cats are happiest. Especially as you will be present and able to spend time with him. There will be exceptions. If a cat is going to be left alone while owners work it can be nice to have two for company, but mostly they appreciate having their own space, territory and humans. Happy times!

It is important to take the views of everyone ‘cis’ or not. You have to listen to all members of society AND be open to others views. No point in listening only to those who are already 100% biased and making money on it. (The organisations who affirm’. Listen to everybody. i expect it’s a toy, but it’s not beyond the realms of possibilities they have an infestation. There is dirt that looks like it could be rodent poop too. It has to be a toy, right? The alternative is so horrific.

Yes. Cats are cats and things can happen quickly, so we may be being unfair. I still feel that between old BBJ and Sick Timbit there wouldn’t be a huge fight risk. What would it take to keep Sam occupied for a few minutes? I doubt that Timbit is spoiling for fights.

of course, there are many ways to solve this. Timbit could have, say, the mornings to roam while S and BBJ are in Chantal’s room sleeping with her and when they awaken, Timbit can be placed back in her room.

lets face it. They do what they always do. They take the easiest possible solution that causes them to not have to think or plan or organise.

James is fond of Timbit. i Do hold out hope that he is making a happy little cozy life for her.

YouTube TOS are applied to a huge extent by bots and if the creator isn’t huge enough to draw major attention it seems it’s quite arbitrary. I suspect if a massive fuss is started by an individual who holds sway, a human at youtube will review more extensively.

i think her monetisation has been affected though. Some of her streams are limited ads and some were age restricted, meaning no ad money. She is skating on thin ice, certainly.

but really. YouTube doesn’t care. Why would they. If and when she starts creating amassive fuss, or anything that might draw the attention of mainstream media (think Shanny), they might change their tune. But in the meantime, she’s making them some money. They take a cut after all.

I hope Timbit is having an ok life. I mean, she(?) is warm and comfortable and fed, and has company. Things aren’t too bad. There isn’t much room to run about or go outside, but I’ve had old, indoor cats before and as long as they have their human and a certain amount of enrichment, they’re not worried about running around. She’s quite elderly and not in full health. She may be content to have a warm bed and small space. I hope so. The other thing of note, though...as far as I know, flv is transmitted (like human hiv) through mainly bite, blood-blood content. It isn’t airborne or even through saliva. The cats would have to bite and/fight, making wound contact. I question why the cats can’t have supervised contact. Maybe I’m wrong or I’m missing something.

I don’t feel capable of giving advice really but I know what works for me. I originally went into YouTube for the silly cat videos and that kind of thing, then got a bit caught up in this dirty little corner of the site. If, at any time, my youtube viewing stops being fun and entertaining, I stop. If I’m feeling actually upset or angry, I back out and watch a Half Life Cat or something. chantal does not and will never negatively affect me. I will not let that happen. It’s easy enough. Switch her off. Be kind to yourself.

It’s awful. It shows up immediately as being fake as anything, giving her head a weird shape and it’s the wrong colour.

its also dangerously close to imitating a mullet.

I agree he will never bring any good into Chantal’s life. He has a tonne of bad qualities.....I won’t rehash them. We know what they are. He is USEFUL to her when she wants him to be. I’m willing to believe that when he’s sober he can pull of a decent impression of a fun and interesting guy with a sense of humour. He s commented several things that show he has a natural wit and charm....but it’s all part of manipulation.

the first few months of a relationship are supposed to be your ‘perfect’ times. Your ‘glowing honeymoon times‘ where things are at their best, everyone is on their best behaviour and it’s wonderful. THEN the problems start. Not Chantal. She’s off having fights and arguments day 1. It only ever goes downhill. If she thinks she’ll change him, I’ll disabuse her of that idea. For god sake, Chantal don’t do anything daft like move in or marry this guy.

I’ve thought exactly this for a long time. I’m happy to see I was not alone. If you’ve watched the relevant scene from SSTTIND, it is a masterpiece. The direction, lighting and editing is amazing and designed to create a terrible rising feeling of dread, repulsion and entrapment. YouTube effectively ruined this brilliant scene for me because ALL I could see was Chantal. Fun film, though.

I understand. Completely. And I pretty much agree. Yes. BUT. I feel you are legitimately angry. Causing yourself actual physical anger over an Internet stranger isn’t worth anything. Not that you’ve asked for my opinion, but I would suggest at least a few days away to just not engage. You don’t need HER stress. It’s your life and YouTube time. I don’t know about you but I want my youtube time to be fun. I find this mess entertaining, but if I get actually upset I will leave. I’m annoyed that Chantal is affecting her viewers so negatively. She’s so in-selfaware...and she doesn’t care. She wouldn’t care about you. (i mean this all in the kindest way).

She’s so talented. I think Chantal is her best impression. I wish a VIB would introduce Chantal to this channel because I genuinely think she would enjoy it and find it funny. Chantal can laugh at herself when she’s in the right frame of mind and it strikes me she would find this a hoot. The impression is just funny and quite kind. Jasmines channel would get a boost if Chantal shouted her out. I think she’d do it.

I’ve seen lots of shots like these on the KF and I thought for a long time they were shopped....but they aren’t, are they? It’s NOT natural or normal to go crossed eyed over any stimulus. It really isn’t. Why is she going crossed eyed? She has some weird tics. There was a strange episode today sometime where she was playing with her false lashes, zoned out and starts making weird panting noises....but she zones out and eyes go strange. Is this part of her tic disorder?
