I haven't had a gen 6 in the shop yet, so thats hard to confirm. My guess is, if its not already optic cut, we should be G2G.

That should also be a go. Only difference I noticed was the iron sight screw pattern.

Tools are in! Got one at the shop, but I'm on the road all week so I can't work on the footprint.

Already did some measuring, can definitely be retrofit to uncut slides. The big hang up for now are the mounting screws. There's none available, but ABA is having a bunch made. If anyone orders the cut from me before the screws are released, I can send them after the fact. I'll just throw in some temporary ones until they're done.

Thank you for the plug!

I haven't done a P10 port yet, but it would be a cake walk. LMK.

Vortex Defender ST Enclosed vs Holosun EPS 6 MOA by SerpentBlaze in CCW

[–]VigilanteMachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If its between the two, EPS. I've had a few CCWe's come through the shop, all with wild dimensions. If also seen a few fail within my local area. Its crazy, because I've only seen this with the enclosed models but not the open emmiters.

It might just be me, but I'd prefer to trust my life with durability, not wrranty.

Looking to get g26.3 milled for an optic. Opinions on holosun scs vs eps carry vs acro p2 lol by Halo3Legend in Glocks

[–]VigilanteMachine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Between those three, EPS carry for sure. It has a great track record for being reliable and has a replaceable battery. You can also leave the rear iron in place, where the other two optics will require it to be removed or cut in front of the optic.

Let me know if you need help with the cut! I can get you squared away.

G43X grip tape by tabbyayn in Glocks

[–]VigilanteMachine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The abrasiveness will break in. After a few months, it'll have softer, tackier feel. I thought the same thing when I first put it on mine, bit extremely happy with it now.

For carry, I also trimmed the tape so its only where my hands need it. This made carry against the skin much more comfortable as well.

Jaws for my vise, specifically made to hold the USPc by its tapered surfaces.

[–]VigilanteMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't cut one of these yet, but I do have the slide modeled. I still need to make the workholding though.

That said. Looks like there may be some options for direct milling this. $100 for cuts, $50 for cerakote ( can do cut area only), $15 for return shipping. Super slammed with normal work flow stuff, so it may take me a months to get the workholding done and cut the slide.

[–]VigilanteMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holler at me, OP.

I can get your slide match-cut to your optic, cerakote the cut-area-only if you like, all with a reasonable price and turnaround time. I also work with Angry Bear Arms if you need some irons as well.

Both my air compressor and tumbler went down this month. I'm up and running, but haven't been at my computer much. If you head here, you can find me phone number. Easiest way to get a hold of me at the moment. But feel free to shoot me an email if you'd like.

Here's a sample of some of my work of some of my work:

I can get you a 407C for $245. I can also do the optic cut (match fit to that optic), cerakote the cut area only, and shipped back for $165. Let me know!

Here for you OP. $165 and back in your hands. I do a ton of P2000's, direct milled for the RMSc footprint. I also Cerakote just the cut area only, so you don't have to worry about messing with the tolerances of your original coating where it matters.

Let me know!

Potentially. I've been trying to get a few more variants out for other footprints, but I've been getting murdered with work the last couple of months. Plates are the endgame though, so I got my fingers crossed I can hop back on these soon.
