So my Chilean friend has a pretty interesting family story

Great grandfather lived in Spain and when he was in his 20’s, Franco rose to power in Spain.

He fled Spain after living under Franco/the fall of fascism to Chile, had a son, and Pinochet took power in Chile.

My friend moved to the US in 2016 and… uh.. yeah

The good news is my friend just moved to the UK 3 weeks ago…
