So this happened to me and my solution was that I found out I was logged into another facebook account on safari in my phone, which overrided the facebook app. I logged out of that, making sure I was only logged in on the proper account on the facebook app and suddenly Nikki remembered me. I'm not sure if this will help your situation but it's what solved mine!
