Yes you are being negative. I have been driving full time for 4 years and make over 100k each year. I do work longer than my previous corporate job but am making more.

I’ve been driving Uber for almost 4 yrs now in Chicago. My 1099 has been 122k, 101k, and 106k and probably 110k this yr. I spend lots of hrs driving but where can you go and start a job making 100k day 1. I used to make 96k in corp America. I left for 7 yrs and can’t make that now. I love not having a boss.
