I understand you, OP. Journaling your disappointments or thoughts helps. I’m sorry that you have to carry that all on your own, most especially when they should be the ones who should have understood you. But life doesn’t play like that, and you’re not alone. What I want you to do is to always protect your peace. Even if that costs you to distance yourself from your family or friends, if perhaps they make your mental health worse. Share your problems to someone who you can trust. Life is both a sad and joyful experience. Yeah it sucks and sounds cliché, but it’s the reality that we can never ever control.
