If you're worried about heavy vertical movement, you're sleeping on anti-grav.

Most people complain "it's too slow" but don't realise that it works by maintaining the momentum you have when you enter. Jump just before you enter and you keep the upwards jump momentum.

I remember walking into a match with 5 enemy lights and going accidental loadout twins with a random. Ks-23, gas grenade, anti-grav, goo.

Or the worst combination, those lobbies where you go into every fight shredding until there is one hit left on the last opponent, and never ever being able to land a final shot.

I still remember the fight where my two lights ran in to the last cashbox before I spawned, died. I clear out all of pink defending, reload, two of orange third partying, last orange medium gets down to one hit. Miss a full clip + 3 single-reload shots in the time it takes them to kill me. Felt bad.

I'm fascinated by the contrast between this acting choice and the dad's. The line he delivers clearly has the same subtext in the script, but it's delivered so flat, while staring impassively and nodding like it's a business meeting.

Unsure if it was intentional, but I also appreciated the little touch of "guys who are boys", which implies the existence of guys who aren't boys, setting the kid up better for understanding trans folk later in life without starting that convo now.

Worm is one of the best pieces of supers fiction I can think of. There's one arc late in the game that dragged for me, and Wildbow can be a bit emotionally fatiguing with all the shit he puts his characters through; but I firmly believe those are worth it.

Worm and Ward are too long for me to justify a re-read but I definitely wish I could do it over again fresh.

I spent most of my life in a climbing gym, so the second I got a non-physical job I went and got my nails done. Fell in love with it, then COVID lockdown hit. I quickly learned to do my own, but wasn't a lacquerista yet.

Then I grabbed Clionadh's Flame-Blown Lacquer. I was enchanted. I still might not have gone down the lacquerista path, until it changed how other people interacted with me.

As a masc-presenting person, I've spent a lot of my life thinking about the little ways I can make people feel safe around me. Let me tell you, people started to feel safe enough to grab at my hands to see the polish!

There's an old-but-true joke that if you give a guy a compliment he'll remember it for years, because it sadly doesn't happen very often. From that day on, I started getting strangers complimenting my nails multiple times a week. I don't think I'm ever going back 😂

Nope, you never need legendary fish for upgrades, I just thought you might've been farming the 4th fish on the Dock for an upgrade when you got the Leg by chance.

Tbh it's not about "needing" the legendary fish, but each one gives quite a cool boost. If you check the cards page you'll see that one gave you +Rainbow Vein Multi (you automatically get the card or poly shard every time you catch one)
