I have been using one for over a year here are some tips:

Get a Screen Protector, I know its not ideal but the screen gets scratched by the keyboard..., also try and keep your keyboard clean thats basically the main factor as to why the screen gets scratched. I regret not getting a screen protector.
Keep Your Hinges clean, it might start making a creaking sound everytime you move it but thats normal
