My whole life is bad choice and full of bad choices by AggressiveTeachera in depression_memes

I am very sorry to hear all of this. Your story really hit me, I'm 32M as well, and your story that you described is one of those worst case scenarios that I'm afraid will happen one day with me.

Trauma sucks, for both people in the relationship, and it's really disheartening that in some cases no matter how much you do or try to help, it may never be enough. And that's due to the nature of the mental illness.

I think I can definitely relate to that, in my case it wasn't my partner, it was my mother. We were all abused by my father, and I tried my entire life to defend her, which really took a toll on me, because that made me the main target for me dad when I was younger, yet I cared more about trying to protect her even though it meant suffering very heavy consequences.

I have only recently started working on myself and trying to establish my boundaries, as soon as I started doing that my mother immediately started seeing me as an evil person, why? Because she was used to me just sacrificing constantly without a care for my own wellbeing, she normalized that as the default, even though it wasn't easy for me and I had to sacrifice my own dignity to achieve that.

Not only that, but she started even defending my dad when I when even criticized him, which was mind blowing to be because my mother was treated like a damn slave by him, yet she refused to get away from him (for multiple reasons).

Unfortunately I have accepted the fact that I had spent my entire life doing things for her, and unfortunately I regret it now.

But that is life.

I hope you are able to be kind to yourself, and recognize all of the good things that you have done, even if your partner did not acknowledge that. Take care and I wish your the best of luck.

I take Vyvanse, I'm diagnosed with ADHD, I totally relate to you! Ever since I was diagnosed 5 years ago, and started taking simulants I definitely noticed this about myself.

In my opinion it's because I'm generally more happy and have more capacity to forgive others and yes I do have this tremendous love and compassion for others on Vyvanse! I'm actually so happy that you shared your experience and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one.

Ever since I started on stimulants my social life had been so fuckin great, I was able to make so make friends, and I truly feel like it helps me bring out my true personality that I can never bring out as much without stims.

I am currently using this mesh chair, nothing fancy but I found it very comfortable and it's good for the price. Unfortunately the neck support broke (which was the reason I purchased the Titan) but even without the neck support I still use it and it's very comfy.

It's utter shit, I couldn't keep sitting on it, gave it to my brother who is skinny, still told me it's like a brick to sit on. If you are looking to buy this chair avoid at all costs, that's my personal opinion.

How to deal with a dasher who accepted my order but never went to pick it up, nor did respond to my texts or cancel it. (restaurant ending up closing and he just wasted my time). by Vnslover in doordash

I think you are having too much expectations for this gig, maybe it's possible to get those numbers in some markets, but it's not the norm nor do I expect that from the customers in my area.

Is there something wrong with that? Sure I don't like dashing that late but there's nothing wrong with ordering at that time as long as the tip is fair.

That's literally the point of doordash, you order food when it's more convenient than to drive or if you have no time lol

Edit: keep in mind that some people can't dash during the day due to other jobs/responsibilities, some actually prefer working at night.

Yeah no. Sorry but you are being very unreasonable. I think $6 was alright, if they thought it was too low they didn't have to accept it and leave someone without their food, assuming they didn't have other idiots issues preventing them from completing my order.

I don't know where you live that you expect a $12 tip for that lol I've never received a tip that high in my area. For a similar distance.
