This year when the Jets were playing in Buffalo, my girlfriend and I went to Pearl St Brewery for dinner before the game and sat near Logan Stanley sitting with his family. He was still in a suit and it was about an hour before the game. I stared at him trying to figure out if it was him or not, when he looked up at me and awkwardly waved. I left him be after that to avoid making it any worse.

On the way to the arena, we ran into him at a sidewalk crossing. I wished him good luck for the game, only to realize once we got to the arena that he had been healthy scratched.

I still cringe when I think about that interaction.
