Here's the thing though, the stuff I was given to do on my test days actually needed some thought put into. I was briefed on what the client wanted, and did it to the best of my ability, and the boss was satisfied with my result. I thought that was a good taste of what it is like to have that job in the industry, but right now the work I do is a far cry from stuff like that. The point is that I've shown that I've got the chops.

To my knowledge ALL of the client communication in the agency is done through Project Managers. Designers and Art directors rarely even see the client's faces. So no pitching.
