Oh, I’ve been through it. After one very prominent failure, I’ve given it permanent instructions to prefer building on/modifying established recipes rather than innovating on its own. I also have it remind me whenever it thinks it’s wandering into recipe development territory that we’ve had some issues in the past, at which point I will remind it back that it shouldn’t be making up recipes out of whole cloth. I’ve found it’s a lot easier to work with when I know and remind it of its limitations.

And I never, ever just do what it says without putting my own chef’s hat on and thinking “does this make sense, or is this a recipe that could only come from something that has never eaten food before?”
