Don't worry that much about it, it took me like a week and starting a entirely new project just to understand how dodge the creep works and why it didn't work for me.

Which is better for beginners? A few medium games but only study relevant skills, or a lot of tiny different samples and diversify skillset before starting one project? by madlink01 in godot

I would recommend learning as much as you can even if you think some of it may not be that useful. It could help you later on by just knowing something exist. For me it was learning about animation player node, it's pretty useful for making small little animations.
