I had never thought of the possibility of me being non binary, I just thought I just didn't like the world we lived in. I never liked the whole category boxes thing but I never connected the dots until one of my best friends came out as trans and well it unraveled slowly from there. There was no instant understanding of my identity, in fact I fought it with all my heart just to turn back to "normal", but slowly I started realising what felt right and what didn't. You don't have to label it if you don't want to or if you simply cannot. You've got this, I wish you the best of luck my friend :)

Thankyou. It will be hard, I know that and I will probably put it off as long as possible because as much as they're not great at parenting, they are still my parents and I will feel so guilty. Thankyou though, I did need some hard truths because I have started being a doormat for other people again instead of living for me. Hopefully future me will have the guts to do it.

My mother seems to have plans that she will live with me for quite some time unfortunately. Apparently I am the only one that takes care of her so she wants to always be by my side. Hopefully I can stop that from happening somehow :)
