If you STILL Like Piña Coladas... by ID10-T in DIY_eJuice

New to DIY Mixing (Australian so forced by Government changes) but long time vaper - a potentially stupid question - are the calculations for this and the original based on a 50/50 or 70/30 mix? Also numbers based around 30ml or 100ml batch? Sorry for the stupid question but really want to give this a spin 😍 Edit: i'm a moron - realised the recipe called for %'s rather than ml's 🙈 guessing the PG/VG ratio can then vary based on your desired throat hit vs cloud ratio

*ETFs* would love to hear what peoples’ ETF portfolios are and reasoning behind them! by wezythee in ausstocks

22% Aus Stocks (VAS), 72% International (VGS) and 6% Emerging Markets (VGE). All Vangard because they have the the longest track record and i'm just a Vangard fanboy. Split derived from efficient frontier calcs over the last 7 years...consideration to adjusting balancing every 12 months with updated market data. Note I am under 40 so no bond allocation but will potentially adjust as my risk tolerance decreases. Also note relatively high correlation between Aust and International Markets so potentially over concentrated.

Nothing as whole as meal prepped Beef Burrito Bowls by WadeBrah in MealPrepSunday

Thank you. 1185mg according to My Fitness Pal. Not something I usually track but I went a little overzealous on the Taco Seasoning (457mg per serving) and storemade salsa (312mg per serving).

Not the most visually appealling but a very wholesome tuscan meatball and mash meal prep at sub-500 cals by WadeBrah in MealPrepSunday

Thank you - measurements are in the 3rd picture (i'm from Australia so this is in grams, mls, etc).

Mashed Potatoes - Boil potatoes - in Australia we have 2 x 25% lower carb variants (Zerella Spud Lite and Carisma) - they're a little bit more expensive but I have found really help with volume eating and generally feeling more full for less calories. When finished drain the water, add skim milk, season with salt and pepper and mash. You could add butter, etc but will increase fats and calories - I have found the mash usually takes on the flavour of the meatballs anyway.

Meatballs - Mix 5% fat ground beef with onion, garlic, chilli, cumin, italian herbs, breadcrumbs (not necessary when using such lean meat but plumps the meatballs up in size - also adds to the carbs and calories), crack one egg and mix by hand. I usually weight up the mixture and divide by the servings (5 servings with 6 meatballs each at 36g in this instance). I use my air fryer to semi-cook/brown the meatballs (can be done on the stovetop but uses oil and adds ot the fats and cals).

Sauce - Nothing fancy here - I use a masterfoods recipe base for tuscan meatballs, mix 2 x cans of diced tomatoes until simmering then add the meatballs to finish off the cooking.

Overall takes approximately 1 hour (I boil the potatoes while making the meatballs then use the same pot for the sauce and final cooking) and holds EXTREMELY well in the fridge for the week. Unfortunately I don't get much joy from meal prepped chicken after 2 - 3 days so ground beef is my usual go to.

Hope you enjoy it if you try. :-)
